Dog Care - All your Dog Care needs

The Kramar Pet Company supplies all your dog care needs including products for:

Tethering: tethering and dog care go hand in hand- if you do not have appropriate tethering products then your dog is at risk of running away, running onto the road or become involved with confrontations with other dogs. Kramar has a large range of tethering products to ensure your dog is safe when out and about. Some of these include:

-          the roadie – the dog seatbelt that are certified to human seatbelt standards

-          car and walking harnesses – especially good for bigger, stronger dogs who are harder to restrain

-          muzzles- they come in a variety of shapes and sizes to ensure comfort

-          chains

-          retractable leads

-          collars – in a fantastic range of colours, patterns and materials

-          and lots more

Training: this is a vital part in the development of a happy and healthy dog and should be a large element of your dog care routine. Training teaches your dog to act appropriately so that other people, other dogs and personal property does not get destroyed. Kramar’s extensive range of training products includes:

-          pee pee pads to help teach your puppy

-          training clickers

-          containment and fencing systems

-          remote training systems, and

-          bark controllers

Grooming: your dog care routine should always include grooming to ensure your dog is knot free, healthy and happy. A shiny smooth coat shows a dog cared for, which makes for a dog that cares back. The grooming range of products supplied by Kramar includes:

-          clippers

-          blades

-          brushes and combs

Clothing: dressing your dog is not only a fashion statement but a way to keep small dogs warm during the colder months. If clothing is part of your dog car routine then Kramar’s selection will astound you. The variety of materials, styles, and sizes available ensures you will find something to suit your pooch.

Treats & Dental Hygiene: many people’s dog care routines forget to include dental hygiene. Why not combine a treat with dental hygiene by choosing one of the products from Kramar’ Chew N Kleen range. The range of rawhide chews are bound to tempt your pup.

Toys: mental stimulation, exercise and companionship are all elements of a happy, healthy, content dog and toys are an excellent way to gain these characteristics in your dogs. You'll need to speak to the city. Pasadena is notoriously tough to do business in, they have very strict laws about building, insurance, etc. I really think a breeding business won't fly, besides, realistically the area is too expensive for the space needed. (And don't even try in a residential area, the residents are not casual about that kind of thing!) If you're thinking Pit Bulls, forget it, Pasadena has an ordinance against it. Also, there are many pet facilities in Pasadena/Altadena, probably too many to make opening a facility a good financial option in this economy.

Go to the city, but don't hold your breath. Doing business in Pasadena is also a very slow process.

Advertising! any form is helpful. Go out out and put some posters. Have a street party and encourage people to bring their dogs. Remember that you have to spend money to make money. Try sponsoring a sports team. Get on the local radio and get them to promote your buisness. It's all about getting people to remember your company's name.

Although brushing their teeth daily is the best, I know very few people who do, and I know lots of people, including vets, tech, trainers, etc. I use Oxyfresh Pet Oral Hygiene Solution in their drinking water to reduce the buildup of plaque and tartar, and my dogs have great teeth.

  • At 8 weeks of age, your puppy wouldn't have had all of its shots- but it needs to get out of the house.
Yes- it is at risk of picking up illnesses like Parvo because it hasnt been fully immunised. However- between 3-14 weeks is a dogs Critical Stage- this is when your pup will learn everything it needs to learn about the world, how to act in different situations, and how to interact with different animals, dogs, and people.
Without proper socilisation at this age your dog is at high risk of developing behavioural and social problems, and is also more susceptable to health problems.
This has been a long standing argument with vets and behaviouralists. A vet who specialises in canine behaviour, however, will tell you that it is important to get the pup out and about at this age- even if there is a risk.
You can reduce the risk by only allowing your pup near other dogs that have been vaccinated. Puppy play school is a great option.
A dog walker would also be a great option- the pup should only require short walks and will most likely not come across too many dogs.
If you can find a doggy day care to care for your pup it would be ideal- as the people who run the place should be well aware of the risks of disease- and the benefits of socilisation and training at this age, so your pup should be safe.
Pembroke welsh corgis are fantastic dogs- but they are very active- so it is great that you are planning on entertaining your dog when you are not home to care for it! Good luck!

    Yes there are.

Wal-Mart, Target, Sams Club are all organizations who
usually are hiring so that you can take a second job so you can pay for your dogs medical bills.

  • Kate says:

generally speaking you do, and if the govt finds out your house will be taxed as an income producing, part commercial residence. Change in tax class could greatly increase your taxes
